Money Laundering. . .

Unfortunately, my profits haven't been too lucrative yet! :-) LOL!! (I thought it was funny!)

Moist Monday Message

(Yes, I realize that is quite possibly the cheesiest post title I have ever come up with. I just decided it'd be fun to try .) K, no pictures unfortunately, but it's not because we haven't been doing anything! It seems like we've been keeping pretty busy for fall. So here's a little run down of our recent activities and not necessarily in order of when they happened, just the order of me remembering them. There is of course the daily work for Jon and nearly daily homework for me, a day or two of work for me here and there, church Sunday and Wednesday, band practice at church for Jon sometimes after church Wed. sometimes Sat., everyday grocery shopping etc., a dead car and the search for a new one, a ladies' retreat, Jon's birthday, birthday/anniversary dinner with friends, yet another attempt at working out and getting healthier, choir practice at church for both Jon and I (after church), young adult game night, and all the everyday things! The good news...

Timothy Wyatt Taylor!!

I am VERY pleased to announce to those of you who have yet to hear. . . Timothy Wyatt Taylor finally entered the world at 9:09 A.M. today (9-12-09). His Mommy, I'm sure, is very happy to finally have him in her arms after an all night labor! He surprised us all by arriving a month before his due date, but he and his Mommy are both healthy, so we are pleased!

Tis the Season!

It's beginning to feel a lot like Aut-um. . . Yep, it's almost here again! It's not too cool outside yet, but there's just kind of that feel in the air. A few mornings now I have gotten up a little chilly and considering hot chocolate and a sweater (yeah it's not quite THAT cold yet). I haven't actually caved yet, but I DID restock my cold weather basket in the kitchen today. The moral of this story? I'm all stocked up on popcorn, oat meal, marshmallow lovers hot chocolate, cappuccino, coffee, tea - we even bought sweet-n-low for our dieting friends! Now we're all ready for fall/winter AND for any visitors who decide to stop by! ;-) So do I dare say it? . . . Have a happy and blessed Harvest season!!

Random Projects

Jon decided one day to call the manager of our apt. complex and ask if we could update the light/medicine cabinet in our master bath, turn in receipts, and get it taken off our rent. In stead, the manager just let us go to the store, pick things out, and show him. He bought the stuff and Jon installed them. We were way under the budget he had given us, so he was pleased and we are very pleased!! . . . Now if we could get rid of the wall paper! :-) BEFORE (excuse all the junk out of the cabinet on the counter) AFTER And this project has been in the works for a while, but I finally finished it, so I thought I'd post a picture. I think I need more greenery stuff in the basket, but otherwise I think I like it so far. This is on the other living room wall across from the two dog pictures (Window on the left, open to the entry and dining room on the right).
