Look closely at the two pictures. Can you find the differences? :-)

And still MORE!

Our tree and some random decorations. The big white spots are actually beaded ornaments that apparently would work great as reflectors! :-) Lights! My beautiful nativity set I got for Christmas. I couldn't wait to come home and set it up even if it was technically after Christmas. I'm gonna be sad to put it away! The blanket I made for Logan (random I know) Some of the "fun" decorations my mom found for me this year. REALLY like these ones. There are two shiny and two frosted ones. These came in a mixture of green, red, and gold. She got some multi-colored ones too, but I had already packed up my extra hook things so I didn't put any of those on this year. Just for fun!

Montgomery Christmas The sign we made for Mama and Daddy Joy got a piano ornament with a note saying "Coming Soon!" My Mama's gone wireless! Ok, not just wireless, but first she has a computer and is quickly learning how to use it. She now has e-mail and everything! Now if we can just get her a cell phone and teach her to text! :-) She got her laptop for Christmas from my Dad and Bud helped her get it all set up and gave her a crash course in computer literacy. Jon and I got this beautiful hardwood storage bench for our "entry way". ___________________________________________________________________ One of the highlights of the Montgomery Christmas for me was getting to finally meet my newest nephew. Wyatt is almost four months old now and a completely rotten snuggle bug, but a good baby even in the middle of the chaos that is our large family. It has become a bit of a tradition to have a baby dedication the first Sunday of the new year (when there is...

Christmas pictures. . . FINALLY!

Catton Christmas Reading the Christmas Story. The Stocking Ritual Not the most flattering picture of us, but it's the only one I have on my camera. ___________________________________________________________________ And now. . . (can I get a drum roll please?!?). . . The newest members of the "stocking ritual" The baby of course, not his parents And these not so young-sters hung their stockings for the first time this year. Mom wanted something extra special for her first stocking. . . :-) We wanted to do it up BIG! She was a little surprised. Didn't really get many gift opening shots this year, but Brier so enjoyed opening his own toy this year! No joke Jon started it for him and the dog opened his own gift then thought the next few that were handed out should be his too! K, here's the story, much to his dismay, Brier isn't allowed on the furniture at Mom and Dad Catton's house. He loves Jon and the feeling is mutual, so he was so excited to find Jon i...

Quck update

So, two things. First, I'M DONE!!!! Finally at 12:35 Saturday night/Sunday Morning I finished all requirements for school, so I should be expecting my diploma in the mail sometime in the next little while. Second, Mostly for Rach and the other girls and family members who didn't get to be here, I have some pictures. Jon and I went to see the program that Mama was in charge of at their church tonight. She and the kids did a great job! I'll probably be posting a few more pictures later, but here are some of my prize pictures from after. I was a little emotional over this one. Partly because Becky wrote the song she was singing and partly because a few weeks ago, Joy was laying in a hospital ICU with holes in her lung and not able to talk. Tonight she sang a beautiful solo!

School #16

So here's part of what I've been up to in my Kitchen and Bath class. I pulled an all night-er last night finishing the assignment that I spent all afternoon and evening yesterday working on and I didn't even start from scratch. It was just making revisions!! I seriously went to bed when Jon was getting ready to leave for work this morning and slept for a little over 3 hours, so I've been running slow today, but the homework must go on! :-) Saturday's it for me!!

I Think I Can. . .

I'm sure you all know the story of the little engine who could. . . Well here goes round two. I started writing this "jolly" post last week and then realized my math was bad so I didn't feel so jolly after that! :-) Today marks day 1 of week 5 out of 5 1/2 for me with these final two classes. That's right people just 1 1/2 half weeks to go!! I think I have almost all my paperwork in order and everything, so if I survive the next 10 days I will actually get a diploma and the whole nine yards when I get done! So, there it is. While I wondered many times if I could make it a few more weeks, I have made it this far and I DO think I can make it for just a few more days! Below are just a few examples of the things I've been doing.
