I know you have noticed the slightly brighter, retro colors by now, BUT. . . Are your speakers on? As only Lester the Lion (Critter County) can say. . . "Ladies and Gentlemen! My mostest favorite song!". . .

I've found that this makes a GREAT get up and get goin' song!

Aahh, good ol' Earth, Wind & Fire. I just pulled out a CD the other day that I don't think I have listened to since we have been married. I realize, "ahah, I know what I am missing, a bit of music to 'dance' to" and I use that expression liberally :-) and yes, I make sure nobody is home, you know the old "dance like nobody is watching" well I see to it they aren't. It gets the blood pumping and the energy level up, never a bad thing!

OK, I got this magazine in the mail a couple days ago, but just took the time to actually see what it was last night. They advertise "making luxury affordable" - which of course means that they still charge you outrageous prices, they just let you pay it in smaller installments. This, to me, is more trouble than it's worth anyway even if you don't think about the fact that they (like everyone else in America) are encouraging you to spend more money than you have. The thing that really caught my attention, however, was not the flat screen TVs and computers and living room furniture and mattresses and jewelry. . . Like I said, I looked at this thing last night. It wasn't until I picked it up to throw it away a few minutes ago though, that I realized some of the things I had seen listed! Would you believe they have purses and sunglasses for sale on payment plans?!? This to me is just wrong! I've thought this whole craze was nuts before, but the idea of making a $...

Anniversary Dinner

It's kind of hard to really celebrate a special occasion when it takes place early in the week. Jon worked today, and I did homework all day, but we DID manage to get out for a nice dinner this evening. After thinking all day and trying to come up with someplace good and unusual, yet not TOO expensive, Jon and I finally decided on Mama Lucia's in Potsdam. Jon had been before, but it was my first time. Just think Olive Garden. . . The atmosphere was amazing and the food was great!! It's an old train station which is absolutely beautiful inside and it has a nice patio area outside (which is where we ate and just barely missed a HUGE thunder storm). Here are just a few pictures. I brought my camera and then left it in the car. I realized before we walked away from the car, but was just going to forget it because I get tired or fussing with Jon to let us get pictures. HE surprisingly enough asked if I was going to bring my camera in and didn't argue at all about getting pic...
