School #10

My last class was a textiles class. I just finished the class yesterday, but thought I'd give you just a little glimpse of what I've been up to.

The assignment was to take the given floor plan and decide what furnishings and textiles to use. They gave very little client information. The first is a family room for a young couple with three small children. The second is a small business reception area. In working with commercial settings, there are all kinds of annoying codes and regulations to follow! In both of these cases I considered my clients and decided neither had a large budget considering.

This assignment was to take the given drawing of a wall with an un-centered window and create a soft window treatment that "fixed" the imbalance. I just used paint to draw the curtains on right on the computer. I can't figure out why it made the one picture is pink and teal! . . .

Now I'm on to Basic Drafting. . . :-(
