A few IN Pictures

So as most of you know, Jon and I made the long and draining trip to southern Indiana for my Grandmother's funeral this past week. It wasn't a pleasure trip by a long shot, but it was definitely more bearable with everyone together.

I won't add captions to the individual pictures so hopefully they can be enlarged.
Picture #1 - Austin and Bryce would only ride the 4-wheeler with "Jon Catton" (oh, and notice both boys' new hair cuts by yours truly.)
#2 - everyone but Kevin (he had to work) after the funeral
#3 - siblings! Love 'em!!
#4 - beautiful little (growing) family (it was really sunny and windy)
#5 - Bud (no he's not military :-)
#6 - us - again sun and wind...

Poor Becky! No one sent her the memo about wearing black, white, or gray. I always knew you all didn't like me very well and just wanted me to stick out like a sore thumb - a very pink sore thumb! :) Ha! Ha! (JK)

Ok Beck, you provided a much needed, hearty (though silent) laugh...as my boy has fussed nonstop most of the day and has just fallen asleep on my shoulder.
Leah,I need some copies as I somehow missed the picture of Lynette's family and of you guys. Not sure where I was...likely worrying about not futher annoying anyone by holding up dinner. Boy I would love to not be a people pleaser! :p

Yes, I know I just commented but I am looking at the pictures and giggling even harder (am so tired and stressed bare with me). I honestly cant say it stood out as noticable until Beck pointed it out and as I look at the family photo all gray and somber, there is Beck and I am laughing 'til I have tears rolling out of my eyes (or maybe that is stress but who knows at this point).

OK, I got this magazine in the mail a couple days ago, but just took the time to actually see what it was last night. They advertise "making luxury affordable" - which of course means that they still charge you outrageous prices, they just let you pay it in smaller installments. This, to me, is more trouble than it's worth anyway even if you don't think about the fact that they (like everyone else in America) are encouraging you to spend more money than you have. The thing that really caught my attention, however, was not the flat screen TVs and computers and living room furniture and mattresses and jewelry. . . Like I said, I looked at this thing last night. It wasn't until I picked it up to throw it away a few minutes ago though, that I realized some of the things I had seen listed! OK, this is just crazy! Where else on earth would it get down right hot for two weeks and then snow again?!?! Yeah you guessed it! This whole week has been nasty cold with snow off and on. (I knew I shouldn't have made that last post!) Anyway, I have been trying to get Jon to let us get a more springy picture of the two of us to put on here, so here it is. Of course there's not too much green stuff around yet and it snowed two days after this picture was taken, but. . . we enjoyed the weather while we had it!
