Caught up!

So, now we've (well I say we. . . mostly I've) almost gotten everything washed and put away and spent part of the gift money putting the finishing touches one the nursery and are eagerly awaiting her arrival - surprisingly maybe Daddy more than Mommy. I'm excited too, but you know the To Do list is endless, so I'll keep working away until she decides to make her appearance! :-)

Enjoyed all the pictures!! Rest up and get ready...I know you are likely sick of hearing it but it really will be some time before you get the chance again! :-) I'm with her daddy here, she can't get here quickly enough.

OK, I got this magazine in the mail a couple days ago, but just took the time to actually see what it was last night. They advertise "making luxury affordable" - which of course means that they still charge you outrageous prices, they just let you pay it in smaller installments. This, to me, is more trouble than it's worth anyway even if you don't think about the fact that they (like everyone else in America) are encouraging you to spend more money than you have. The thing that really caught my attention, however, was not the flat screen TVs and computers and living room furniture and mattresses and jewelry. . . Like I said, I looked at this thing last night. It wasn't until I picked it up to throw it away a few minutes ago though, that I realized some of the things I had seen listed! Anniversary Dinner

It's kind of hard to really celebrate a special occasion when it takes place early in the week. Jon worked today, and I did homework all day, but we DID manage to get out for a nice dinner this evening. After thinking all day and trying to come up with someplace good and unusual, yet not TOO expensive, Jon and I finally decided on Mama Lucia's in Potsdam. Jon had been before, but it was my first time. Just think Olive Garden. . . The atmosphere was amazing and the food was great!! It's an old train station which is absolutely beautiful inside and it has a nice patio area outside (which is where we ate and just barely missed a HUGE thunder storm). Here are just a few pictures. I brought my camera and then left it in the car. I realized before we walked away from the car, but was just going to forget it because I get tired or fussing with Jon to let us get pictures.
